Whether you are having a holiday, taking a sabbatical or own a property and live in Bulgaria, there are just those times when, away from home, you miss British foods. This can be anything from a simple cup of 'proper' tea or a full English breakfast, through to a mouthwatering slab of perfect matured British beef. The answer to your dilemma lies with British Foods BG. Owned and run by Kevin Pescott, together with his partner Beth and son William, who have 'set up shop' in Bulgaria. Since as long ago as 1860 the Pescott family have been purveyors of high quality bacon, sausages and choice cuts of meat to both individual and business customers.  Now, with over 140 years of family tradition behind them,  they offer a personal service, customer care and satisfaction for deliveries to your door of fine meat and British grocery produce.

Operating to stringent EU health and food safety standards, all Kevin's produce is additive free and made from carefully selected choice cuts from traditional breeds that produce 'real' meat, the texture and taste of which, is noticeably different.

Originally established as 'Bangers and Bacon', Kevin has launched a new comprehensive online British food site, called British Foods BG. Driven further by customer demand, he is now also supplying an extensive range of British groceries, frozen foods, drinks and desserts. So, if you are hankering for bacon or a curry, want dumplings in your stew, gravy granules with your Sunday roast... or just a mug of real British tea, your every desire is catered for. Plus there is free delivery across bulgaria!

Kevin told Quest Bulgaria, "We want our customers to enjoy our food and to feel that they have the benefit of our knowledge and experience. We are more than happy to spend time advising how best to prepare and cook our products. With centuries of experience and customer satisfaction behind us, our quality is indisputable, our customer care unique."

If you don't want to order off the internet, watch out for Pescott branded products will soon be available in shops throughout Bulgaria.

With more than a century of experience, you can imagine there are some gossipy historical highlights during their time in business. Kevin recalls, "My father, who was born in 1909 recounted to me a tale. The John Baker shop is in the foreground of the picture and ours in the background. Baker's shop was built by Gales Brewery to try and put my grandfather out of business due to a family feud over water. Gales got their water from a well on land they owned behind the old shop and the main to the brewery went through our land. Gales supplied us with water, and wanted to increase the annual charge, my grandfather told them in that case they could take their main off his land. The feud thus began. In the 1940's, my parents and grandfather bought Bakers out and extended the shop to what can be seen in the 1980 picture."
