International language teacher, Catherine Billebeau, brings us lesson three of a 12-month exclusive course for Quest Bulgaria, so now, over to Catherine ...

... Hello again! This month, the Build Strength section will start with the solution to the exercise from lesson two, so that you can see for yourself how confident you become with the language little by little.

Build Strength

First of all we asked you, by way of 'revision' to figure out the Bulgarian for a short list of words, and to add the 'the' ending in each case:

Казвам се Джон. Аз съм англичанин. Аз съм от Лондон. Сега, аз съм в България за три седмици, защото искам да купя къща в България. Обичам тази страна, защото времето е часто хубаво.

Here is the translation (we hope you got it correct!):
My name is John. I am English. I am from London. At the moment, I am in Bulgaria for three weeks because I want to buy a house in Bulgaria. I love this country because the weather is often beautiful

Note: You may discover that some of the words we use in the lessons every month have not been used before... this is to ensure that you always have your dictionary close to hand, and of course, that you use it!
