Lesson Ten - Building Strength

Lesson 10 brings us to the point where we have to make sure whether you can recognise and use the two forms of a Bulgarian verb, respectively called the imperfective and the perfective. Earlier on in this course (lesson 7), we  already introduced you to the use of the particular aspect of the Bulgarian you will not be able to do without.

Good Luck!

Answers to the exercises of lesson 9:

Translation into english:
George has waited for Kalina in front of the theatre.
Maria has said that the invitation was very late.
Naikolina said that she has waited for the train for a long time.
Ivo has come back from the sea very early.
He said that he has enjoyed this house in Bulgaria.

Translation of the small report from BG TV:
Why is an image of Bulgaria important?
If Bulgaria wants to be a touristic country, it must have a positive image of the desired spot.
Nobody invests in a country about which we know nothing.
Nobody invests in a country - a museum representation.
It's important to show to young people what qualified manpower is available.
