Varna Airport Increases Flights For Summer

An increase in flights has been announced for the new summer schedule at Varna airport in Bulgaria. Extra flights have been added from other destinations to cover the summer season on the Black sea coast. Plus four new routes will be in operation for the season starting from the 27th March 2011.

The new routes that have been added starting from June include:

Katowice - Poland with Lot Airlines.
Samara - Russia with Ural airlines
Kazan -Russia with Tatarstan Airlines.
Cologne - Germany via German low cost carriers Germanwings will follow later in July.

An increased number of flights over the summer season available from Varna airport will include - three flights a week to Brussels from 1st April 2011,and following in May Dusseldorf, Luxembourg Yekaterinburg and St Petersburg.

From 28th May Bulgaria Air will have direct flights to Moscow's Sheremetievo and St Petersburg, from June Moscow's Domodedovo airport.
Plus twice weekly flights to London Gatwick commencing from 22 April 2011.Wizz Air have twice weekly flights to London Luton, Tuesday and Saturday.

Daily flights in operation from Varna airport are Budapest, Sofia and Vienna.
