Sunny Beach Opens for Easter

Bulgaria's famous tourist resort, Sunny Beach will open for business from this weekend; its first flights for the season will be arriving from

surrounding countries including Macedonia, Romania and Serbia to celebrate the Orthadox Easter holidays. Selections of hotels have opened early for this year's business, to cash in on the first tourists of the season.

There is good news for holiday makers considering a holiday in Sunny Beach and that is that the prices are expected to remain the same as last year. Below we list some early season prices:

Local beer from - 0.60 Euro
Restaurant meal for two - 12 Euros
A bottle of local wine from - 2 Euros
Daily car hire from - 20 Euros
Litre of petrol from - 1.30 Euro

After a successful season in tourism last year, the famous Black sea resort began maintenance work early this year so as to ensure the resort will be open for business and cope with the demand expected this summer.
