Buy Bulgarian Property - Before it's too late

Now is the time to buy Bulgarian property according to some of the country's leading realtors who predict that prices are to take a final reduction.

They are advising those with an interest to buy Bulgarian propertynow before prices start to creep up towards the latter part of 2013. It is forecast that the market will remain stable for the first half of the New Year and then some areas of the country will experience a shift in prices and sales.

It is thought that the inland rural villages of Bulgaria will not be affected by the price rise and could in fact continue to fall, whilst the towns and cities such as those situated on the Black Sea Coast, the ski regions and areas with other specific interests such as locations with spas and archaeological sites are expected to gain a further encouraging interest from foreign buyers.

So Who Wants to Buy Bulgarian Property?

It is thought that 2013 will follow 2011 - 2012 where a high percentage of buyers came from Russia. This current trend is set to continue, and in addition to the continuation of Russian interest, estate agents remain hopeful that a new introduction of potential investors from Greece, Kazakhstan, the countries of Scandinavia, Georgia and Ukraine could help bolster the Bulgarian real estate market.

Interest from British buyers is still considerably lower than that of 2010 and the years prior to it and Bulgarian estate agents are not visualising a change in the foreseeable future.

Value for Money

Bulgaria offers the best value for money in terms of real estate and it is no surprise that so many foreign investors have taken advantage of this fact. Where else can you buy a large 3 - 4 bedroom village house with a substantial plot of land which is already renovated and in some cases fully furnished for £20,000? Where can you get a 2 bedroom fully furnished apartment in a coastal resort or a city by the sea for less than £45,000? The same apartment prices can be found in the beautiful ski resorts of Bulgaria.

For those who have good DIY or building skills then Bulgaria has literally thousands upon thousands of properties in need of repair, modernisation or complete renovation, and these can be picked up from as little as £2000 depending on area.
