Bargain Ski Holidays

With sterling at a record low against the euro, Balkan Holidays is urging skiers to bag a Bulgarian ski and snowboarding bargain. Prices currently lead in at £249 per person – a saving of £191 per person - for a seven night holiday, departing from Bristol on 7th February 2009, staying at the three-star Mountain Residence 1 in Bansko. Price includes flights, transfers, accommodation and supplements, and is based on three adults sharing an apartment.

As well as low package prices, Bulgaria is outside of the eurozone, which means money will go even further once you arrive. But there is no skimping on quality: major investments into Bulgaria's winter resorts over the past few years, especially the country’s premier resort of Bansko, means that in terms of facilities, they rate alongside the better-known European destinations.

Ski passes and lessons are a fraction of the price of French, Swiss and Austrian resorts, and the cost of apres-ski fun is incredibly cheap too. The food and drink prices at the resort are low: a typical three-course meal with a bottle of wine costs from just £10 per person, and a beer from £1.20.

If this is not tempting enough, Balkan Holidays are offering either a free six day lift pass, or a half price learn to Ski Pack, Full Ski Pack or Snowboard Pack, for seven night holidays to Bansko, per person.

This offer is valid on all departures to Bansko on or before the 7th of February and throughout March 2009 subject to availability.
