Pamporovo is only 85 kilometres from Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second largest city. Here is Europe's most southerly ski resort, 1,650 metres up in the Rhodopes Mountains. Purpose built below the peak of Snejanka, this resort has reliable snow cover throughout the season.
